Volunteers Are Very Important People

Come join the hundreds of people who come to Bethesda to volunteer their time and skills. The hospital could not run without volunteer help and volunteer smiles. 

Our positions are constantly changing as we meet wonderful people with talents that they have developed through a lifetime. With their warm smiles and tremendous dedication, volunteers are an essential part of Bethesda's mission of providing quality health services in a caring manner.

Adult Volunteer Program:

Bethesda Hospitals East and West are currently accepting Adult Volunteer Program applications.

Our volunteers come from all walks of life and bring countless skills and abilities with them. They are retirees, professionals, former patients, homemakers, military personnel, college and high school students, to name a few.  Here are a few areas where we invite volunteers to serve at our facilities:

• Gift Shop
• Wayfinding Services
• Office Assistants
• Patient Rounding

College Student Volunteer Program:

College students attending a local college or taking classes online, may apply through our online adult application process.

College students wanting to volunteer during the summer break may apply in the Spring for our Summer College Term.

High School VolunTeen Program:

Gift Shop

Our Gift Shops are now open at Bethesda East and Bethesda West.  Please stop in and see our beautiful selection of gifts for our patients and guests. Orders for gifts and flowers delivery can be made by phone at 561-737-7733 ext. 84469.
