Carol A. Adami, M.D., one of South Florida’s most respected Board Certified radiologists, has been the Medical Director of Bethesda Women’s Health Center since 2004. Dr. Adami encourages all women to be proactive in their breast health through annual screening mammograms and emphasizes the importance of discussing family history and other circumstances with their physicians.

As Medical Director, Dr. Adami oversees the Center’s clinical breast services including all screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, as well as breast ultrasound imaging, breast MRI and breast biopsies. 

For patients who require a diagnostic mammography or diagnostic breast ultrasound, Dr. Adami and her staff will ensure that results are provided before you leave. In addition, Dr. Adami and her team of radiologists always provide comprehensive consultation for patients recommended for breast biopsy or for a second opinion from an outside imaging center.

Dr. Adami received her Medical Degree from the State University of New York Medical School at Stony Brook. She received her Fellowship training in CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Body Imaging at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
