Intensive Feeding Program

The Bethesda Center for Pediatric Development now has an intensive feeding program.

This program is geared towards children who are g-tube dependent, have severe food aversions, poor weight gain, and/or difficulty transitioning to age appropriate foods.

This program is three times per day, five days per week for eight weeks (120 sessions).

What are the benefits of an intensive feeding program?

  • Consistent presentation of foods
  • Behavior management
  • Increased tolerance of the sensory properties of food
