A Special Place for Kids!

Kids aren't just little adults. That's why the Bethesda Children's Center focuses on the special needs of kids. Caring for patients from newborns through age 17, our dedicated team of pediatric specialists and pediatric nurses provide quality, compassionate medical care in a family-friendly setting. Even the décor, with a whimsical undersea theme, creates a warm, comforting environment for kids, and adults.

For children who are critically ill, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit provides that extra level of care. Also known as the PICU, the unit is staffed by a team of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, dieticians and rehabilitation specialists who specialize in pediatric critical care.
