Bethesda Health Issues Advisory Regarding Hospital Services

10/7/2016 - UPDATE: As of 7:00 a.m., Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West have resumed normal operations.The emergency departments at both Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West remain open.


(Boynton Beach, FL)  In response to the Hurricane Warning Advisory issued by the National Weather Service, Bethesda Health announces the following status of services.
 
(1) All elective procedures at Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West scheduled after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, have been canceled.
 
(2) All elective procedures scheduled at Bethesda Health City for Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7 have been canceled.
 
(3) The Emergency Departments at Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West remain open.
 
(4) Women who are 36-weeks gestation should plan to arrive at Bethesda  Hospital East and arrive by: 
        ** Thursday,  October 6, at 2:00 p.m. and BRING these items:
Blankets, pillows, sleeping bag, lawn chair, water, snacks, medications, toiletries, comfortable clothing, doctor’s name and phone number, books, games; personal stereo/TV and flashlights 
 
(5) Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West are not shelters. If you have special medical needs, you should contact your doctor to make arrangements for placement in a special needs shelter.
