Board Certified in internal medicine, Dr. Michael is Fellowship trained in cardiovascular disease with an additional Fellowship in advanced heart failure and heart transplant. She sees patients with all stages of cardiovascular disease and has special interest in heart failure and valvular heart disease, as well as preventive cardiology. She also has advanced training in cardiovascular imaging.
Dr. Michael earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL before completing her Residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital, also in Miami. She continued her residency training at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, LA where she also completed her Fellowships, serving as Chief Fellow during her final year.
In addition to being Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Michael has additional certifications in Adult Echocardiography by National Board of Echocardiography and physician vascular interpretation by ARDMS.
