Bethesda Center for Graduate Medical Education
Building for the Future of Medicine in Palm Beach County
Bethesda Health is honored to be part of a consortium of Palm Beach County hospitals selected to partner with Florida Atlantic University’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine Graduate Medical Education (GME) program. With a long-standing tradition of providing medical education for nurses, radiology technicians, pharmacy students, third and fourth year medical students, and podiatry residents, Bethesda ranks among the most comprehensive teaching hospitals in South Florida. As a host site for resident physicians, Bethesda Health can shape the future of medical care in Palm Beach County with highly trained and well-rounded physicians to serve our community.
In partnership with the FAU GME Consortium, Bethesda has the potential to become the largest medical and surgical teaching hospital between Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and University of Florida Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
Together with our Medical Staff, Bethesda will train our resident physicians with the highest commitment to quality, safety and medical outcomes in providing exceptional care for our patients. With state-of-the-art technology and highly advanced treatment settings for patient care, our residents will gain valuable experience, honing clinical and caring skills that have been the hallmark of medical excellence at Bethesda Health since 1959.
