Digital Mammography

Bethesda Women's Health Center is proud to have been Palm Beach County's first facility featuring all-digital mammography with computer-aided detection (CAD) since 2003. Digital mammography has many benefits for all women, particularly women with dense breasts, those under age 50 or women who are perimenopausal.

Mammograms are normally completed within 15 minutes. Diagnostic mammography results are discussed with the patient at the time of service. Screening results are usually available within 24 to 48 hours. Mammography results are read by Board Certified radiologists and sent to the patient and referring physician.
