Meet Our Staff

What is an Audiologist?

An audiologist is a professional who tests, diagnoses, treats and manages hearing loss or balance problems for all ages. Audiologists are the most qualified professionals to perform hearing tests and hearing aid fittings. They also evaluate dizziness and balance disorders which can be caused by inner ear problems.

Bethesda audiologists are an integral part of our rehabilitation team of therapists, technologists and physicians. Our audiologists are doctoral or master's trained, certified through the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and licensed to practice audiology in the state of Florida.

We provide expert care and teaching to families and other professionals and participate in the training of future professionals from various university programs. Our staff participates in many continuing education activities, both at the hospital and at other sites, to ensure that we provide the most up-to-date, research-based care available.
