Affecting one out of four American women each year, osteoporosis is a condition resulting from a gradual loss of bone tissue, typically following menopause. The equipment is also capable of vertebral fracture assessment.
Women can request one-on-one consultation with Bethesda’s Nurse Practitioner who is a Certified Menopause Specialist by the North American Menopause Society. Topics including osteoporosis and menopause, as well as treatment options and management can be explored without bias.
