Bethesda Women’s Health Center uses a digital bone densitometer with CAD (computer-aided detection) to provide view of both the spine and hip for osteoporosis screening. The equipment is also capable of vertebral fracture assessment.
Women can request one-on-one consultation with Bethesda’s Nurse Practitioner who is a Certified Menopause Specialist by the North American Menopause Society. Topics including osteoporosis and menopause, as well as treatment options and management can be explored without bias.
