Does Bethesda hire minors?
Yes, but the work hours are based on Child Labor Laws.  We need a parent’s consent and the applicant has to be at least 16 years old.

Does Bethesda pay for relocation?
Yes, for hard to fill positions only and the applicant has to have lived greater than 50 miles from the hospital. If those requirements are met, relocation forms need to be submitted to HR with all moving receipts.

Do I have to have a Florida RN License if I have an out of state RN License?
Yes, you must have a FL RN License to practice as a RN at Bethesda.

Do you hire Nurse Interns?
Yes, we hire nursing students who have completed at least 2 years of clinical as a Nurse Intern.

 Does a PCA have to have a FL certificate to work?
Yes, PCAs are required by the Department of Health to have a certificate with the state of Florida.

Do you have any opportunities for someone who wants to get into Nursing or Radiology?
Yes, we have the Bethesda College of Health Sciences located at the Bethesda Service Center in Boynton Beach. The College offers the Associate in Science degrees in Nursing and in Radiology. For more information, call 561-364-3064 or visit www.BethesdaCollege.net.

Do you offer any classes for nurses who want to expand their nursing career?
Yes. At certain times of the year, we hold classes for special areas such as CCU, Tele, etc. to learn that level of nursing.
