Radiography, more commonly called X-RAY, was discovered in 1895, which makes it the oldest and most frequently used form of medical imaging.  Bethesda Memorial Hospital has embraced the most advanced technology and is a fully digital facility. All images are acquired by computed or digital radiography means and are stored in a PACS archive.

 

Services Provided Include:

  • Routine digital diagnostic procedures
  • Digital fluoroscopy procedures (scheduled procedure) 
  • Digital screening mammography/stereotactic breast biopsy (scheduled procedure) 
  • Digital radiographs performed in surgery

 

Hours of Operation:
The Radiology Department at Bethesda Memorial Hospital is open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Inpatients, outpatients and emergency-room patients are accepted. Walk-in and STAT exams are accepted for non-prepped Diagnostic Radiology procedures.
