Radiation Oncologists
Dr. Greene graduated with honors from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed Residencies at the University of Miami and Shands Teaching Hospital at the University of Florida. He is Board Certified in Therapeutic Radiology and also practices Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Greene has had articles published in national and international medical journals and has received honors for his work in radiation therapy. He has been listed by his peers in America's Best Doctors since 1995. His areas of special interest include breast, head and neck, genitourinary and central nervous system cancers.
Dr. Parsons received his medical education at Duke University Medical School. He completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine where he also served as a tenured member of the teaching faculty and administration for eighteen years before joining the Radiation Oncology practice at Bethesda Memorial Hospital in 1998. He is Board Certified in Therapeutic Radiology and also practices Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Parsons serves as an editor of national and international medical journals and continues to actively publish journal articles. He has been listed by his peers in Americas Best Doctors since 1992. He is internationally recognized for his expertise and experience in treating head and neck cancer, genitourinary cancers and soft tissue and bone sarcomas. He authored definitive papers on the use of radiation in the area of the eye.
Receiving his medical education from Queen's University Faculty of Medicine in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Sharma completed his Internship at the University of Western Ontario and Residency at the Princess Margaret Hospital at the University of Toronto. Completing a Fellowship in Brachytherapy/Hyperthermia at the William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan in 1997, he then served as the residency program director and chief of brachytherapy for the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He is Certified by the American Board of Radiology and Radiation Oncology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
