Meet Daniel S. Goldman, M.D.

Daniel S. Goldman, M.D., FACC, FHRS, is triple Board Certified in internal medicine, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Goldman currently serves as the Chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular/Thoracic Services at Bethesda.
Dr. Goldman received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi and completed his internship at the university’s medical center. He then performed his internal medicine residency and fellowship in cardiology at the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn.
From 1986 to 1990, Dr. Goldman served as the co-chief of the Division of Cardiology and medical director of the Coronary Care Unit at Jersey City Medical Center. He then served as the director of electrophysiology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Staten Island, New York until 1993, when he moved to Florida. For eight years, Dr. Goldman was the director of electrophysiology at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville. In 2008, he moved to South Florida and joined The Cardiology Center in Delray Beach where he currently practices.
Dr. Goldman is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Goldman is the author/co-author of numerous scientific papers and holds two U.S. patents.
