(Boynton Beach, FL--) Scott Classen, R.N., M.S.N., M.B.A., is the new Executive Director of Bethesda Heart Hospital. Classen joins Bethesda’s team with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, most recently as the Director of Cardiovascular Services at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, FL. During his time at JFK, he was responsible for the daily operations, strategic planning, and customer and community relations of the cardiovascular services unit.
As the Executive Director of Bethesda Heart Hospital, Classen will oversee and direct continuous quality improvement measures for interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and cardiovascular surgery as well as the advancement of cardiovascular services lines which includes new technology and techniques. Classen earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. He earned a Master’s degree in Nursing as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Classen is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Professionals.
