Breast Ultrasound Imaging
Used to determine whether a palpable breast lump is cystic or solid.

Breast Biopsies
Stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guided breast biopsies are performed when necessary to facilitate the early diagnosis of breast cancer.

Breast MRI 
Together with Bethesda Outpatient Imaging Center, Bethesda Women's Health Center offers Breast MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and MRI guided breast biopsies.

Comprehensive Physical Breast Examination
 Appointments can be made with our Nurse Practitioner who is a Breast Health Specialist

Galactography
This X-ray exam uses mammography and a contrast material to obtain pictures of the breast’s milk ducts.
 

High Risk Assessment and Genetic Counseling/Testing 
Patients with a strong family or personal history of breast cancer can benefit from genetic counseling and testing for Breast and Ovarian Cancer Syndrome (BRCA1&2). It can also help patients with cancer evaluate treatment options based on their risk of recurrence. Appropriate medical management such as increased monitoring and prevention strategies can be implemented as recommended.
